This is a recipe from Ashley’s blog “Not Without Salt” which is one of my favorites.  Both the style and elegance of the dishes she creates are inspiring.  What is fun here is that while making this recipe you can easily spin off two additional treats with little extra effort!

This dish has a low to medium difficulty level and is created in two parts:

1). The crust for the Gingerbread Tart is the same recipe one would use for gingerbread cookies.  So, if you really wanted to cook to impress you could create a batch of cookies and use the scraps for the tart we will be using. Click here for Ashley’s Gingerbread cookie recipe:

2). Now it’s time to make the Cranberry Curd:

Meringue is a great treat in itself.  Why not also make some
